چکیده
Abstract Background Emerged faba bean gall disease attacks the stem and leaves of plant results in complete crop losses. This study was initiated to screen multi-trait rhizobacteria for their antagonistic efficacy under in-vitro in-vivo conditions against Olpidium viciae control effect on bean. Sixty isolates were first examined morphological, biochemical, phenotypic traits. Results Pseudomonas fluorescens AAUPF62, P. aeruginosa AAUS31, Bacillus AAUMF42, AAUAm28 showed greater than 68, 62, 57, 54% suppression O. dual culture, volatile metabolites, culture filtrate assay, detached experiments, respectively. The revealed that early treatment with AAUS31 reduced severity by 63% (in FB-Obse) FB-26869) varieties. co-inoculation AAUPF62 significantly enhanced shoot ( P = 0.003; mean 122 cm) root 0.018; 94 length, increased dry weight 8 factors (83 g pot −1 ), final 92% FB-Obse variety. Conclusions strains could be potential agents disease. use moderately resistant varieties synergistic bioagents recommended.

Enhancing faba bean (Vicia faba L.) genome resources
Grain legume improvement is currently impeded by a lack of genomic resources. The paucity of genome information for faba bean can be attributed to the intrinsic difficulties of assembling/annotating its giant (~13 Gb) genome. In order to address this challenge, RNA-sequencing analysis was performed on faba bean (cv. Wizard) leaves. Read alignment to the faba bean reference transcriptome identif...
متن کاملScreening of faba bean (Vicia faba L.) accessions to acidity and aluminium stresses
BACKGROUND Faba bean is an important starch-based protein crop produced worldwide. Soil acidity and aluminium toxicity are major abiotic stresses affecting its production, so in regions where soil acidity is a problem, there is a gap between the potential and actual productivity of the crop. Hence, we set out to evaluate acidity and aluminium tolerance in a range of faba bean germplasm using so...
متن کاملGene Function Expression Profile of Faba bean (Vicia faba) Seeds
Faba bean (Vicia faba L) is one of the important grain crops worldwide and its genome, the largest among grain legumes (approx. 13.4 Gb), has yet to be sequenced. Comprehensive knowledge of genes expressed in the crop's large seeds would not only help drive new genetic improvements in the crop but also aid its future genome characterization. Here, we applied high throughput RNASeq (Quantificati...
متن کاملThe digestibility in piglets of faba bean (Vicia faba L.) as affected by breeding towards the absence of condensed tannins.
Seed samples from two near-isogenic faba bean (Vicia faba L.) lines were examined for the levels of so-called anti-nutritional factors (ANF). From the ANF known to be present in faba beans, trypsin inhibitor activity, functional lectins, condensed tannins and pyrimidine glycosides were analysed. It was concluded that the lines differed only in the content of condensed tannins being < 0.5 g/kg a...
متن کاملStructure and function of seed storage proteins in faba bean (Vicia faba L.)
The protein subunit is the most important basic unit of protein, and its study can unravel the structure and function of seed storage proteins in faba bean. In this study, we identified six specific protein subunits in Faba bean (cv. Qinghai 13) combining liquid chromatography (LC), liquid chromatography-electronic spray ionization mass (LC-ESI-MS/MS) and bio-information technology. The results...
